Worlds away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you’ll find one of the desert’s unique hidden treasures—Rancho Sonora Inn & RV Park.
Originally built in the 1930s, our adobe inn is a retreat of peace and serenity. You’ll appreciate the authentic Southwest ambiance combined with an eclectic mix of furnishings, fine bedding, and modern amenities.
We are also horse-friendly, welcoming guests traveling with horses and offering a convenient, comfortable stop for both you and your equine companions as you explore the beauty of the Southwest.
Onsite and offsite sale of propane, water fill, dump during business hours. Payment accepted: Cash, check, card (3% credit card fee).

Located midway between Phoenix and Tucson on scenic Pinal Pioneer Parkway (Hwy 79), our location is ideal for exploration in either direction.
What To Do?
There’s plenty to do when vacationing in Florence, AZ.
Visit historic Florence, Casa Grande National Monument, or some of the many nature walks or hiking trails nearby. Visit the Saturday Farmers’ Market in Downtown Florence or take a day trip into Phoenix or Tucson from our RV Park & Inn.

Close to Monastery Went to the St. Anthony Monastery for a few days. This motel is about a 5 or 10 minute drive from the monastery. Comfortable bed and a clean room. In a quiet setting with lots of beautiful saguaros and joshua trees all around. 
This was an unexpected gem in the desert! We were looking for a place to stay on our way to Tucson on Hwy 79 - and there were few to be found! So we took a chance and booked it on-line, based on other reviews. We almost drove right by it at night because it blends in so well with the desert! It was a charming, authentically southwestern experience for us. We loved the way the owner restored this adobe homesite and did a great job of adding unique desert decor. The desert landscape surrounding it is perfectly photographic. Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast in the lovely dining area. It was a far cry from a Marriott or Hyatt stay - but certainly memorable in a different way. If we ever travel that way again, we will definitely stay again!
